Possible animation Ideas

Following our group tutorial on Tuesday we came up with the following ideas for our animation:

Idea 1- When not to open the door

• Girl answers the door to a man (her ex-boyfriend) over and over again- every time the door bell rings
• The mans actions gets more and more extreme each time:
1. Produces a single flower
2. gives her food/chocolate
3. holds up a sign confessing his love to her (love actually style)
4. girl opens the door to a note which says to look up- he leans down for a spiderman-style kiss
5. man starts singing
6. man still singing, and a small choir walks in behind him
7. (Most Extreme) Man rips open his shirt to reveal a tattoo of her face on his chest
• Each time the girl opens the door and sees what the man is doing, she gets more and more angry- she slams the door each time (harder slam each time)
• Girls friend is in the house- every time the girl slams the door the friend holds back laughter- each time it is harder for her to hold the laughter back
• Ends when: The man shows the tattoo, the girl looks like she is going to finally forgive him for a second, but then she slams the door, the friend finally collapses with laughter.

Idea 2- When not to laugh (audience pov) / When not to mess around on film sets

• Blooper roll with Character- Character is on multiple different film sets
• Deadpan: Dramatic scene in a rom com- character walks onto set by accident- failing joke
• Surreal: Halloween set- character pretends to be french guy comes onto set and drops a frog into the cauldron
• Slapstick: performer on set- character makes him fall
• Irony: Character messes up a set, someone gets hurt, another person laughs and then gets hurt themselves
